We're sad to say that like so many other shows, we are forced to postpone "Dark Side of the Circus" due to the COVID-19 situation. It is profoundly disappointing to us and all our artists who have worked so hard on this production-- but the show will go on (eventually)! We are happy to announce that our new show dates will be September 25th-27th, 2020.
If you are a ticket holder, you will receive a message with instructions on how to proceed.

Many artists are suffering right now due to loss of income. Bow & Arrow has about $1k in losses due to the postponement, so we would very much appreciate any donations at this difficult time. You can donate to us simply by clicking the button below.

Bow & Arrow is a circus theater collective founded by four badass women: Marie & Genie Cartier, Bethlayne Hansen and Madi Worthington. By combining our diverse backgrounds in circus, theater, production and design, we are taking on the patriarchy by creating our own original independent circus theatre productions. Our recent productions have been yearly installments of Saturnalia: A Raunchy Circus Christmas, a fun, sexy circus show inspired by the Pagan origins of Christmas.

We are now working on an even bigger production called Dark Side of the Circus. The idea for “Dark Side of the Circus” was born many years ago when teenage circus performer Genie Cartier listened to Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” for the first time and thought “this should be a circus show.” The time for this idea has arrived. Not only is female leadership more needed than ever, a thoroughly entertaining and well-produced independent show is just what the doctor ordered in these dark times.

"Dark Side of the Circus" will play April 3rd, 4th and 5th at Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco. Save the date!
